Coating Thickness Instrument

The PosiTest DFT Coating Thickness Gage was designed for DeFelsko to address a number of technical, manufacturing and marketing objectives. It is designed to comply with Defelsko’s high quality standards as well as their economical selling price. The design was developed to permit DeFelsko to offer two models in the same enclosure.

PosiTest DFT Ferrous measures non-magnetic coatings on steel while the PosiTest DFT Combo measures both non-magnetic coatings on steel AND non-conductive coatings on aluminum, brass, etc. Substrates are Automatically recognized during measurements.
