After DeFelsko’s extraordinary success with their introduction of the Positest DFT, IDS was called back to develop their next higher performance product; PosiTector 6000. The PosiTector 6000 has been promoted as an extremely rugged, fully electronic coating thickness gauge. It is based on magnetic and eddy current principles to measure coating thickness on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, accurately and quickly.
