The System 4 Interface cart was designed by Integrated Design and Biodex’s engineering team to comply with challenging ergonomic, functional, technical and financial considerations. This clean looking design provided a cohesive appearance to a utility cart which supported a special computer, printer, display and keyboard in addition to numerous hardware attachments on the rear surface.

Ease of use, durability and attractive appearance were required to comply with restricted investments in molds and reoccurring part cost. These objectives were attained by designing the cart with symmetrically configured extruded aluminum side covers which were cut to length. Skillfully detailed sheet metal work surfaces provided structural elements to the overall cart cost effectively.

Strategic choice of colors and placement of corporate identity graphics resulted in a product that more than satisfied original project objectives.
