Goodtimes Entertainment contracted IDS to develop this versatile exercise workout bench as seen on TV informercials. This product was designed to comply with demanding stresses induced by rigorous aerobic excersize. Folding legs allowed the user to set the unit at two different heights as well as incline the workout surface as shown in this photo. Impact resistant high density polyethylene was specified to satisfy the 400 lb. impact loads imposed during testing. Extensive design and analysis were conducted to optimize this design to comply with extremely restrictive cost constraints.
