Company Name: Abastecedora Rimova

This playful rotationally molded desk and chair set was developed for grammar school students in Mexico. The desk as designed to visually compliment the chairs as well as accommodate up to four children. A flip top lid was included to permit storage of books and papers within an inner compartment. Design considerations included stacking, aesthetics, safety and durability. Extensive research was conducted to optimize size and shape of the set for children within the intended age group of 3-6 years. This unique design has been an extremely successful product for Abastecedora Rimova who is one of Mexico’s leading manufacturers of children’s educational products. It has also been recognized for design excellence in South America.
