Creative Bath is one of the largest manufacturers of injection molded bath room products in the world. They contracted IDS to provide them with innovative new designs for bathroom accessories a few years ago. Creative Bath was seeking new designs to invigorate their dated product line which was loosing market share to other upcoming companies. This unique design for a toothbrush stand represented one of many concepts which provided Creative Bath with a new direction for styling and design direction. This very sculptural form for a toothbrush stand provided Creative Bath with a concept that was a major departure form the more convention cylindrical glass shapes associated with these products. Introduction of concepts based on two shot injection molding was suggested as a potential manufacturing process to offer customers multicolored bathroom accessories which would compliment contemporary designs in toothbrushes, soaps and other bathroom products.
