History

Integrated Design Systems Inc. (IDS) was incorporated in 1983 by its founder and current president, Michael Paloian.

Since its inception IDS has provided its clients with creative product design solutions from initial concepts to production liaison.

These services have been offered to our clients within a seamless development process starting with:

• industrial design concept ideation
• followed by engineering development
• concluding with approval of production samples.

In the early days all designs were developed on drafting tables using  markers and pencils. A selected concept was eventually detailed into production part drawings using conventional drafting practices. The process was slow, tedious and very labor intensive.

Handmade models and prototypes typically required many weeks to complete.

Today our productivity and range of services have improved 10 fold from those early years.

Our state of the art CAD systems instantaneous file transfer and SLA prototyping liaison have reduced product design times from months to days.

Communications, development costs and overall quality have also improved. Today we work with companies throughout the world using the latest web tools and communication methods.
