The J257 refractometer as designed as a wide range analytical device to meet the needs of the Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Essential Oil, Flavors, Fragrance and Petroleum based industries. The design was developed for ease of use, sanitary maintenance, durability and versatility. A waterproof membrane keypad was specially designed for ease of cleaning and operator interface. Droplet samples are simply dispensed onto a surface by lifting the hinged cover at the right and closing it for analysis. The J257 has evolved into an entire line of products for Rudolph and is one of the highest selling refractometers on the market.
