The VeiwnViewer Vision, the third generation VeinViewer incorporates groundbreaking technology in vascular imaging. Vascular images on any part of the body can be readily visible with this state of the art medical imaging device. Vascular patterns are highlighted in real time using Christie’s patented infrared imaging technology. Image sensing, processing and projection are all accomplished within the extremely compact palm sized head located at the end of an articulating arm.

Integrated Design Systems Inc. is proud to be part of the Christie development team which received the 2011 Medical Design Excellence Award for this product. IDS’s contribution included the physical embodiment of the product based on comprehensive human factors and marketing studies. IDS was also responsible for the mechanical and production design for the entire product except the internal electro-optical assembly. Christie tested, evaluated and approved the design for all performance and safety requirements to satisfy international regulatory standards.

The VeinwViewer is a testament to the integration of design and technology in medical devices.
