This simple device for aiding golfers during their critical last strokes on the green was designed by IDS for PuttKing based on a concept they provided. The shape and graphics were derived from numerous ergonomic studies focused on ease of use. A rotating dial was designed to align the golf ball with the hole and indicate the direction of the ball based on the angle of the tuff. Simple visual alignment was all that was required for this simple mechanical device which was designed for ease of manufacturing and assembly using three injection molded parts. A silk screened plastic overlay was also designed to provide easy to read tables displaying angles and distance.
