Line Printer

Since the mid 1970’s Genicom has been a recognized leader in high performance line printers. The 4000 series line printer is rated at up to 1000 lines per minute. It is a workhorse for demanding applications requiring reliable printing on multipart forms. This design was a revolutionary departure from the traditional bulky box shapes associated with line printers. The all plastic housing was designed for structural foam molding, which produced a sound proof, rugged enclosure. Distinctive layered cuts in the upper portion of the enclosure visually lightened the form. Human factors and ease of assembly were also major considerations in the design of this highly successful product that has been selling for more than 10 years.
