Hyperspectral Camera

Hypermed

The Hyperview hyperspectral camera is a revolutionary, one-of-a-kind, handheld, noninvasive diagnostic device which measures oxygen levels in subcutaneous vascular tissue. Integrated Design Systems and Hypermed received the 2018 Silver Medical Design Excellence Award for developing this state-of-the-art medical device.

IDS contributed to the embodiment of this product, as well as all the engineering and manufacturing design associated with its mechanical structure. Initially, extensive ergonomic and clinical research was conducted with internationally recognized physicians, hospitals and research institutions throughout the U.S. to establish the optimal configuration for this device. The data derived was then integrated with state-of-the-art optoelectronic components, incorporated into an element analysis, along with sophisticated engineering polymers and cutting-edge molding methods to attain the ultimate product design.

In addition, Integrated Design Systems contributed to the graphical user interface as testing and verification of all mechanical and structural performance criteria. We are proud to have contributed to the development of this revolutionary new medical device which will improve society and save lives.
